These Terms govern your use of abcwaterjobs.com (the "Site"), operated by ABC Water Jobs LLC ("ABC Water Jobs," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who can use the Site

Job seekers must be at least 16 years old. Anyone opening an employer account must be at least 18. If you use the Site for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Accounts

Keep your login details confidential and your account information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Job seekers

• Searching jobs, applying and setting job alerts are free.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your applications.
• We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or employment.

4. Employers and recruiters

• Job posts must be for real, currently open positions in or related to the water and wastewater industry.
• Posts must comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination and pay-transparency laws.
• You may not charge applicants any fee, collect banking or ID numbers before an offer, or post commission-only or multi-level-marketing schemes disguised as jobs.
• Applicant information you receive may be used only to fill your own open roles. You may not resell, scrape, bulk-download or share it.
• We may edit, refuse or remove any post that breaks these Terms, with or without notice.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: post false, misleading or unlawful content; impersonate any person or company; harvest data with bots or scrapers; interfere with the Site's security or operation; upload malware; or use the Site to send spam.

6. Payments

Paid services are described on our pricing page and governed by our Payment & Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.

7. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, format and distribute it on the Site and in job alerts and partner job feeds, for as long as it remains on the Site.

8. Our intellectual property

The Site's design, logo, text and software belong to ABC Water Jobs or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

9. Third-party links and listings

We do not verify every employer or listing and are not a party to any hiring decision or employment relationship. Use your own judgment before sharing personal information or accepting an offer.

10. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ABC Water Jobs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify ABC Water Jobs against claims arising from your content, your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close any account that breaks these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected].

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the update.

16. Independence

ABC Water Jobs is an independent company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a successor to BC Water Jobs, BC Water News or Brown and Caldwell.
